Add me to the list of geezers buying this album. I think it sounds great and I still can't believe Sammy is in his 60's...amazing.

I'm from the same school. It would have been even cooler if they were even more "dated" and Satch wrote shit like "Light up the sky", "On fire", "I'm the one"..or "Hot for teacher". Or stuff like Jason Becker did on Dave's records...like "Showtime". But they prolly try to avoid to mimick VH even tho they certainly could.

Well this beats the pulp outta VHIII!!! I'll grab it..Sammy hasn't lost a spark. I appreciate Michael Anothy because I had to learn every nuance of 40+ fuggin' VH tunes..He's a damn good player IMO!

Wassup Jimmy...WTF!! I hope you doing well my brutha!!

Yeah, I think this is gonna be pretty good. I'll pick it up.

Speaking of Michael Anthony, I've always thought his basslines in this tune are so badass. It's simple, but what a great groove! What he's not playing is just as important as what he's playing if that makes sense.

Enjoy the videos and music you love, upload original content, and share it all with friends, family, and the world on YouTube.

And if this was Satch's typical tone, I would agree. To me it seems he's channeling more balls here than on his records.

                    Bingo Steve..that's a perfect example..!!!

Cool to hear these old unreleased tunes and hear parts that became some well known goodies. In that song the main riff is "Outta Love again" with different groove and the bridge is used for "Mean street". I LOVED played the bassline to Mean street..I never got bored with that one.

well that's why Satch is Satch and Eddie is..ur..WAS Eddie. No disrespect intended. Satch is great but............back to the point. Chickenfoot should be able to deliver live and its about time we see some folks that know how to do it actually go out and do it.
Why the hell doesn't Eddie pick up a goddamned guitar and play something?
