Playing in the Jerz- actually in Toejam's home town.

Anyone seen them lately? Thought I heard that Tate's voice is shotout, if so, I'd prefer to just hold my memories...

I saw them once, man was it a great show.90's
I know the old saying that the value of an opinion is generally inversely proportional to the strength with which it is held.

I saw them last year, and i can assure you, tate still kills pretty much everyone. I believe this tour theyre doing rage and empire in their entirety.
Its a complete catastrophe. But Im a professional, I can rise above it. LOL

Cool. I've only been there twice, and it's like 3 miles away from my house. I need to start going to shows again.

They will be out my way in a couple weeks, was wondering the same. Is Tate nailing it, or just singing from his easier songs? That guy was so damn good in his prime and earlier, before they really took off with Mindcrime.

Surely they will do tunes off their new album, but I haven't really heard any.

                I'll pass..

I put the fork in them a long time ago. Much like Metallica and Dokken..they owe me some fuggin' money. I'm not giving them anymore.

John saw them a couple years ago at the HOB..They're just a shadow of the coolness that was. I didn't even buy Mindcrime II, and from what I've heard..that was a smart move.

QR first 4 albums = great band, loved em

QR last however many albums after MC = pathetically bad songwriting with zero metal appeal
the guitar players look damaged - they've been outcasts all their lives

No, ironically many have improved with time.

Saw 'em on the Empire tour, and worshiped them. Saw 'em again on the Promised Land tour and nearly fell asleep. Went to see Symphony X open, and reluctantly stuck around for Queensryche. I think that covers it.

...oh, and the new album blows.

many? more like few when it comes to the old metal. I have a feeling it ain't gonna be all that but not much happens here in flag, so the wife says we're going... "date night" I heard the new album is like anti-viagra. Maybe I'll get sex cause I took her out...maybe I won't be able to get it up after 2 hours of Queensryche.

I have seen them 4 times in the last 5 years. Tate still does a great job. I agree that OMC2 sucked but it was worth it to see them play OMC in its entirety. This tour is Rage for Order and EMpire in there entirety and American soldier. I hope to go.
