  • Bruce Kulick playing Charvels on the 1984 "Animalize" tour

Enjoy the videos and music you love, upload original content, and share it all with friends, family, and the world on YouTube.

This particular performance also shows what a tight band Kiss was during those days, Gene and Eric Carr were such a good well oiled rhythm section.

He had a few others from what i recall - a blue single hum and a purple one to name but two...
Popular is not the same as good
Rare is not the same as valuable
Worth is what someone will pay, not what you want to get

I remember the blue and gold one from this tour. I have this on VHS, love it!

Edit: Here is the blue one, "Thrills In the Night":

Always enjoyed these guys songs, I know they are not the greatest players for the most part, aside from Bruce, Eric & Ace. But the songs were catchy on on my regular rotation of songs.

Of course, the BC Rich stuff was great to see.
            Thanks!

He also had a broken mirror Warlock.

As for that Leopard print Eagle, he actually had a matching pair of them, on the VHS of that performance you can see him switch guitars changing from one Leopard skin Eagle for another they differ from each other by one having a big worn spot on the lower bout, where his arm (and the many rings and armbands strike the body.

The first of the Leopard print Eagles, note the worn spot

That older Eagle was refinished for the "Asylum" tour.

And was later refinished back and used on the "Revenge" tour.

And the second leopard print Eagle also was refinished for the "Asylum" tour and fitted with a Kahler Bridge.

But To be honest, I think he should've let both his eagles alone, they looked so good in Leopard print.

Seriously, I counted, you can only see him for a total of 50 seconds

Well his nickname in those days was "Spruce Kullick" because of him not moving that much on stage.

Yeah but I hate those camera guys that

                      # 1 Focus on only 1 or 2 bandmembers

                      and

                      # 2 Don't bother finding the guitarist who is soloing

                      - big rant with me!

Ron, do remember that footage is edited. I'm sure Gene and Paul had a say-so in who gets the most "camera time." However, I do agree with you, show the freaking solos, man!

Yeah, I remember the purple one from the "Tears Are Falling" video. Sweet guitar!

He also had a really cool single-hum Jackson Soloist with a zebra stripe graphic and gold hardware. He played it in the video for "Uh! All Night"
but I don't know if he ever played it live.
