  • You guys remember the Dutch band Focus?

Well here they are live back in '73. I didn't know that cocaine was so popular back in '73 Might've been LSD though? Or more likely it looks like, a combination if the two

These guys speed the song up so much, they just might've been the 1st ever thrash band \m/ \m/

oops forgot to add the link

I met the group FOCUS in 1971. I spoke to Jan Ackkermann who didn'r speak much english. When I mentioned Ritchie Blackmore he turned sour and tried to disrespect Ritchie.

Should have played safe and talked about clogs, windmills and fingers in dykes (oo-er). Oh, and tulips. As in "getcha tulips round this baby." Followed swiftly by "Sorry, I thought you was a chick, Jan is a chick's name". That would have sorted his cheese rolling arse out.
So I woke up,rolled over and who was lying next to me? Only Bonnie Langford!

        I nearly broke her back

Some of the most Killer "Shred Guitar" playing of the`70's!!! Ten years plus before the term ever existed!!!
Jan Ackkermann is one of the most under rated guitarist of the 1970's

I HATED that fuggin' song then and it even more now! That was truly painful for me to look and or watch. It was worse that watching Ron Jeremey and Rip Taylor in a gay a porno directed by Richard Simmons.

I like this version MUCH MUCH MUCH better..because..well..it fuggin' rocks!.. http://www.mtv.co.uk/artists/gary-ho...eo/hocus-pocus
