Ehh Yea Cacophony had two of the best guitarists ever basically, but wayyyy too cheesy.

But Marty is still the best.

        I LOVE Marty's solos, phrasing and killer chops..he's like a Cyber-Uli Roth.

But I'm not that impressed with his song writing. Yes, I have his complete body of work including Hawaii. Dragon's Kiss is my personal fave as well as Perpetual Burn, Edge of Sanity, Out of the sun, Rising Force, Greg Howe s/t, Minds Eye, Balance, Kotzen, Saraceno, Firkins, s/t ..ect.. Zero Order Phase is the continuum of that, and raised the bar even higher IMO.

To me the "best" is a perfect balance of technical virtoucity and amazing songcraft. That is Jeff Loomis ..who encouraged Marty to apply for 'deth.
