I like them - but I was telling my wife, the keyboards make me laugh like crazy.

My only complaint with them is this - they have a lot of forgettable songs. Too many albums, too many songs - I think its an epidemic a lot of current bands suffer from.

Love'm em..I've been with them from the start. I like their first four the best. I saw them a couple times live, and once they opened for Nevermore..Dimmu's bus broke down and they were a no show. No biggie..I didn't care.

I don't know if opening for NM set a fire under Alexi's ass..but he was on fire. The whole time I was thinking how is Jeff going to follow this?..Shame on me for having doubts. As soon as Jeff/NM took the stage EVERYONE forgot about COB!!!

I like Alexi's playing, but i hate the keyboards. the stuff i see when he does the guitar world interviews on 'on demand' he seems down to earth and is a a great player, just don't care for keyboards... drop them from the mix and i'd start buying COB albums

Keyboards in Metal are iffy with me, but Keyboards in "Death metal" = Gay.

I could never get into bodom, they have some cool riffs and Alexi had some cool moments, but meh.

see... I think the keyboards is what sets them apart. I really like the keyboard inspired (and probably written) guitar solo's. Almost celtic at times.

I love Children of Bodom. The song Children of Bodom is what really got me into them the one on Hatebreeder. the ablum I like the best in Follow the Reaper. I have seen them a few times and every time they kicked ass.

Yeah..the early stuff when Warmen (Keys) didn't go techno. That had alot of neo-classicall interplay much like YJM and Johansson back in the day..when he used Jacksons.

I like the dueling guitar/keyboard thing Bodom have going at times. Reminds me of some early Malmsteen stuff (like the awesome guitar/keyboard duel in Far Beyond the Sun).
