I'm aware of Jeff Beck of course, but I never really listened to his playing all that much. A few threads have been posted about him recently so I've been checking some stuff out. He's amazing! EVH pay attention... age is not an excuse for declining skills.

He is using talc on his hands?

Anybody here tried it? Probably great for playing in the summer to avoid sweating fingers / palm... but does it do anything bad to the instrument itself?

I've used it a couple of times on my right forearm. It works well but does create a nasty buildup combined when combined with sweat... Nothing that hurts the guitar finish though.
