Here's Loomis playing one of the tunes off Zero Order Phase. Pretty impressive stuff, though I do prefer his playing within the confines of Nevermore. The Voyager DVD is great!

Ha, I was just about to post that. Jeff is such a flawless player, he improvised a little, but it was all within the context of the song, none of that yngwie bullshit!

He's the "new breed" that's been at it for 20+ years!!
I'd put him against anyone in metal ..anyone...ANYONE! But he comes from the same school as most of us!
