Jake's blue guitar is on its way to me from Japan, kinda!!

I will need to change the pickup to a black SH-4 and no idea who made it as is has no logo on the headstock but looks really nice from the pics I've been sent. VERY HAPPY!!!!

Regarding the logo, what colour is the Charvel logo on bluey so I can order one?

Specs Ive just received. The body is an alder, the neck is a maple and the fingerboard is a rosewood. The pickups of neck and center position are Dimarzio DP111 SDS-1, the bridge position is a Seymour Duncan TB-4 Jazz Model. And this guitar has a buzzfeiten systems.

Its made by a Japanese custom shop called Cat Works.

Its a blue strat headstock, no logo so I bought a gold Charvel logo.

I will swap out the hum for a black one and the tuners are black and white and should be all black so I will probably swap them out as well.

Its on its way now!!! Should get in 10 days I think

Exactly, I can't get a Jake E Lee Blue Charvel and if I did it would probably cost over a couple of grand!!!!!! This will do me fine and the specs are excellent for what I paid.

I like Jake's white one - like Sully made. The blue one leaves me cold. I don't dig on the color I guess.

Jake's white one is also a fake "Charvel". It's a Fender which had its neck shaved and a Charvel logo added on by a friend of Jake's that worked at Charvel.

Yeah - so I guess a fake jake is as good as a jake jake.

It's all good - I just wouldn't put a logo on it. Kinda like a Honda with a body kit and an M3 badge.

Edit: I mean put a logo on a home built guitar/warmoth/MM parts guitar.

I didn't make that white jake guitar that I have; it's a real, custom shop Charvel. If I made it, it wouldn't have a Charvel logo on it. I made the pickguard for it.

My issue isn't with the guitar itself at all, it's the adding a fake Charvel logo part that I think is lame.
