Def Lep on the CMT awards

On Sirius radio today there was a great interview with Def Leppard on
their whole career...very funny... and they made a good point of how
their record company stayed with them during the 5 years of being idle..
"Today, that would have meant we would have done 1 album and "Out"
"you would see our album once in awhile in the closeout discount Bin"!

Fucking AWFUL singer though That's one of the worst vocal performances I've ever heard. The Leppard guys really show her how it should be done.

Yeah, she's a terrible singer.. No breath control, flat more times than not.. Hard to believe she pretty much swept the awards. I've actually gotten to where I like some country music, but when I hear her, I almost want to vomit.

I think she's the country industrys desperate attempt to grab up the cutesy teenage demographic, But seriously, they could have done a better job. She IS fun to look at though. But she's like 17 or something... does that make me a perv??

I saw her open up a show for Brad Paisley a year ago or so. She definitely needs more experience singing live and staying in key, but there's talent beneath the surface I think.

I think she writes her own material which is rare in Nashville but maybe that's part of the problem too, ha ha.

Just checked out this performance on You Tube, and it does leave something to be desired. The two bands on CMT Crossroads was a LOT better all round.
