New Marty Friedman album

He's got a new album either out now, or just about to come out. Tokyo Jukebox.
Apparently it's lots of J-pop covers. Yeah, sounds AMAZING eh....
But you can listen to clips here, and it actually sounds much better than what I'd feared.

I think he's still got that crappy Ibenhad guitar! At least if you can say anything about the man he seems to be choosing to do what he wants(I can't see leaving megadeth to do j-pop as selling out))

This album isn't J-pop at all - well, maybe it is covers, but it sounds like his usual fast metal stuff to me!

I really really like the last song, Asu E No Sanka. I loved the original by Alan before he covered it. The Sekai song from Loudspeaker was okay too. And the second last song "romantic" something sounded pretty good on first listen.
