Ozzy ditching Zakk!

I wasn't stating he had liver problems or alcohol related. I was asking. Thats why I used a question mark at the end of the sentence. Knowing he has a history of drinking. My dad was a massive alcoholic but he didn't think he was because he would say "I only drink beer, not gin or anything."
Since the liver is an organ that deals with controlling blood chemistry I was curious if that had any implications to the blood clots. I wasn't trying to say "God hates Zakk Wylde and is trying to kill him for his wicked ways." I did recall reading something somewhere that he had blood clots in his legs so it's interesting that they showed up in his lungs as well.
I think regardless there is probably an interesting story for why he is having these health problems.GTWGITS! - RacerX

I dont understand this. Its been reported time and time again that Zakk doesn't drink nearly as much as people think. In the 80's people drank gallon's of jack, shooting heroin and snorting a eightball of cocain for breakfast, and Zakk is drunk? Some of you guys are a little nitpicky.

We know he's been in rehab, we know he's thrown drunken fits at shows, these are documented occurrences. I'm sure he's upset about the whole scenario with Ozzy and feeling slighted, that increases the chances that he's had some drinks to try and chill out.
Of course nobody knows at this point, and other than between Zakk and his doctor, nobody else may ever find out. But there's enough documentation of his activities over the years that it's natural that the conjecture would lead towards drinking having an effect.Ron is the MAN!!!!

from what I've read he really doesn't drink as much as he portrays. Granted these were magazine and internet articles so the truth will never really be known, but I read more then once all his beer drinking was part of a show, (I have seen him live and he really does throw and spill more hen he drinks onstage) and in reality has a few after a show to cool out. I always kinda considered him as much of an alcholic as a biker. Don't get me wrong I love Zakk of yesteryear, and still appreciate what he does, I just think he needs to be himself alittle more. Also I grew up in the 80's also so I know all about real "partying"
