It's such a shame this band never seems to develop steam anymore. Everytime they try to go on, there is a blowup.

Yeah. I guess there's only 3 people to blame for that though... still, it's a shame cos the new song I heard sounded pretty damn good.

If they are going to tour with Slipknot why dont they just get Corey to sing for them? He was rumored to be a replacement a few years back.

Doing double duty, while it's not unheard of.....for a singer (regardless how good you are) Workin the pipes as hard as you are during the Anthrax set, then cooling down for a while when another band or 2 is on, THEN getting up and singing/screaming a Slipknot set..... I don't think so. I don't care who you are. It just doesn't work that way. A night or 2 would be possible, but by the end of the tour you'd better be ready to take some serious time off to rehab the chords otherwise pollyps could easily occur. From expierience, NOT A FUN SURGERY.

Bush is great with AS, never liked him in Anthrax. But Joey is the voice of that band IMO!

Poor Anthrax...they really killed themselves with that Bring The Noise stuff...and to think had they waited a few years, they'd have been worshipped for it. Although it's better they avoided the rap metal trend

That to me is one of the ironies of Anthrax, they were always a day late and a dollar short.

They were very vocal supporters of Rap (well Scott was ) and constantly pushed this down the fans throats..Then did the second major rap/metal cross over (lets not forget Aerosmith/RunDMC)..they could have invented rap metal..but didn't , they started it with a joke with I am the Man, kinda got serious with Bring the noise and then left it.

Same with the Among the Living /Euphoria years..neck and neck with Metallica..Metallica release the Black Album and kabooom..enormodomes
Anthrax release POT and .........support Iron Maiden.

They consistantly snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.

Those two were cool..I still have those. Dumped the ones after them. But I burned copies just for the fact that Dime is on 'em.

Well, there's another side that says Dan got trashed at Rocklahoma and was "inappropriate" with Pearl, which explains a LOT.

According to a pretty good source I recently spoke to, Dan had a SERIOUS case of LSD (Lead Singers Disease) and acted like he was the be all end all for Anthrax. Plus the fact that he was inappropriate with many people embarrassing and pissing off the band as a whole.
