Everytime my singer grabs me during a solo I just want to kick his ass. I actually did kick him in the ass on stage while he was singing a "difficult" part, and said "hard to concentrate when somone is fuckin with ya huh?" Fuckin singers...

I saw that same show at the Civic Arena in Pittsburgh. Did Waysted kick things off in Cleveland? They actually played an awesome set considering who was to follow (although the Crue were still fairly unknown at that point). "Love Loaded" was a cool classic 80's metal tune that never got its due.

Correction... What WAS he thinking. Remember, this was released in 2002. What he was thinking was probably a paycheck. Versailles Records is known for these types of tribute albums.

In all fairness to Jake, his style and Joe's style just aren't a good mix. But Versailles seemed to be happy with the performance. (or in the case of E'Nuff Z'Nuff, they took what they could get - the E'Nuff Z'Nuff track has appeared on a couple of their tribute albums)

              Here's the track listing:
              1. Always With Me, Always With You- Bruce Kulick
              2. Surfing With the Alien- Jake E. Lee
              3. Echo- Jimmy Crespo/Dave Ragsdale
              4. Summersong- Brad Gillis
              5. Friends- Neil Zaza
              6. Yankee Rose- Enuff Znuff
              7. Shy Boy- George Lynch, Tony Harnell, & Jason McMaster
              8. The Attitude Song- Richard Kendrick
              9. Tender Surrender- Tony Janfone, Jr.
              10. Tobacco Road- Corey Craven

I've already commented on the Yankee Rose performance. But the rest of the album isn't bad. I personally find cover albums like this interesting.

I was going to post this 3 days ago...but didnt, as i thought this would
just make guys angry around here. Good to see, that everyone still has
taste! So its true that he is a meth head? Sure sounded like it.
Makes you appreciate older shredders who still have their shit together.
When i heard this, it sounded like MY rendition !:ROTF:
And my vote for Ozzy's next axe man? Brad Gillis! He might be better today,
                than he was in 85'?

Exactly. I could play the song better than that, it was fucking terrible.

Yeah it's pretty bad. But I admit I expected it to be much worse after reading this thread before giving it a listen!

damn, I feel embarrassed for him...that totally BLOWS!

since when is a "album" some dude blowing over chessy backing tracks of cover songs? I guess I need to release an album

                        Hang it up Jake..

I wish I didnt click that honestly. I was never a HUGE fan of Jake but this track reminds me of a sports star who retires for a bit, makes a comeback and just flat out sucks...

I think perhaps you may have a slightly different definition of awsome than I do

I much prefer Jake's solo on the Ultimate Sin Tour!

Jake E Lee in 1986 playing the solo at the end of Killer of Giants. For the guys at ultimaterhoads.com and jakeelee.com
