Well I'd love to play in Dokken, but the guitarist they have now, Jon Levin, is a perfect fit. He nails it. He sounds like classic Lynch.

And as much as George was my favorite and a huge influence, he has mostly disappointed me for the last 10+ years. His Furious George cd was pure shit. I didn't even bother to buy the Souls of We. However, I do have a small amount of hope that the new Lynch Mob with Oni Logan is going to rock. But I'm keeping my expectations low.

I was thinking the same thing about Dokken and FMG. He's fucking good and has the perfect style for Dokken and would blow Lynch out of the water.

            Thanks for the props dude.

Another true story... after Don Dokken's Up From The Ashes tour was done, I heard or read somewhere that Don was looking for a new guitarist. About this same time, I ran into the singer from Phantom Blue at a local mall. I recognized her and started up a conversation. Don Dokken came up and it turns out that she had his studio phone number, and she gave it to me! So being the ultra Dokken fan that I was, I call him up to see if he's looking for a guitarist. Some guy answered the phone and I ask to talk to Don. He puts Don on the phone and I explain why I'm calling. He said that he wasn't really looking at the moment, but he'd listen to my stuff. He gave me the studio address. I sent him my cd. As you can guess, he never called. Shortyly after that, it was announced that the original band was getting back together. They were working on the Dysfunctional cd.
