Yea, back in the day we did that also, our second demo was heavy Entombed/Grave/Dismember influence.

      Those are great albums though!

One of the best shows I ever went to was Unleashed/Entombed/Morbid Angel on the Blessed... tour.

Pick up a copy of the original painting that cover came from and hang that on your wall

        Ah! Unleashed! Another great band.

Any Morgoth Love here? Eternal fall/resurrection absurd was a absolute fav of mine. Somehow the later release was a drift from their debut's sound and I did not like it that much. Forget what the name of the album was though.

            Absolutely love Clandestine
Everyone seems to think Left Hand Path is their best album, but i reckon Clandestine destroys it.

Not sure about Entombed, but a friend and I did live sound for Dismember when they toured here a few years back and i can tell you that live, all they use is a Boss DS-1 straight into a coupla JCM-800 stacks! Simple........and heavy as f#ck!!!

For anyone interested, check out Bloodbath (if you havent already) especially the first 2 discs "Breeding Death" and "Resurrection Through Carnage"

I can never get enough of the 'Aaaarrrrgggghhhhh' sounds in the background throughout the Clandestine album.

Clandestine is the best swedish death metal album of all time, in my mind. i thought it was brilliant how one guitar was totally scooped to the max and the other guitar was nothing but mids. that, combined with with tuning down to B, created the perfect death metal guitar sound.

                other interesting notes...
Nicke Andersson (drummer on Clandestine & LHP) sang all the vocals on Clandestine while giving Johnny Dordevic all the credit. and played guitar solos on both Entombed and Dissmember albums. dude is brilliant.

have seen them live at least 15 times.always great live. yaeh it was a peavey and the hm-2 boss pedal.dismember used that pedal too. last time I saw Entombed they used 4 marshall amps an 4 marshall cabs. I think that they always have used old marshalls ......live.great band and nicke s new band deathbreath is superb

Love Wolverine Blues, I'll have to check out some of their other stuff.

I recognized their "singer" in the video to Amon Amarth's Guardians of Asgaard. Quite entertaining. Didn't realize they had a guest vocalist on that song. Seems silly to guest someone who sounds so similar.

Awesome place to see a band. The stage can't be more than 6 inches off the floor, and there's no barricade. I just wish it was a little closer to me. It takes me about 3 hours to get there.
