tuner instillation problem

Hi guys I hope someone can help me out, I tried replace my tuner's with a set pf Jackson tuner's on my production sd1 and the holes for the screws didn't line up. I plan on putting on a set of schaler minies, does anyone know weather or not they will fit and why Jackson's didn't?

The ProMods use Grover tuners - the holes don't line up on Schallers or Gotoh's. If you want to use those tuners, you'll have to drill new screw holes.

Thanks, what i want is all chrome hardware, should i just get some chrome grovers? I just think the rounded mini grover heads are ugly.

I ended up going gold grovers on mine just for ease of installation and reverse-ability:



You can always change the buttons if you don't like the grover kidneys.
