6th Batch speculation thread

Ok, so October is only a couple of weeks away (2 1/2) so that means Batch 6.

The Style 2 is being replaced by a variation of the Style 1 2H and Style 1 2H SoCal.

So, what colors will the S1, SoCal, and the new "mystery model" be?

As well, what will the new mystery model be?

I say:
Neon/Hot/Flourescent Pink S1 (to match the Green and Yellow)
White SoCal (what else is left?)
And the mystery model will be a Ferrari Red 1-hum S1 with Floyd

ferrari red 1hum sd1 with floyd would push all the right buttons for me! but then i'd prefer it with a pointy, which they did already.. if only i could find one!
i also think the sd2's would have looked sooooo much better with a pointy!
a flip-flop colour would be awesome for any of the next batch

I"m not really seeing them do pricey options like pointy heads, special paint, or even rosewood boards. The cost of a small run of 1-hums is actually higher for 1 hums than for 2-hums simply because any change on the line means someone has to verify the changes are correct and that batch stays together.
This is why you can't get an SL1 with 1 hum and that be the only change.

And I'd really prefer not to turn this into another of the numerous "wish lists" we have already. Let's try to keep it to realistic speculation (read: educated guessing) if we can.

If it is indeed a 1H Ferrari red Style 1 with a Floyd I will immediately order it, regardless of the cost.

Pointies and Star bodies have already been ruled out.

I'm guessing 1-hum SD or Hum-Single SD.

Wishing for a Rosewood board, though.

A - no, you'll definately see the ferrari red on another model

B - single ply pickguard are where its at. 3-ply is so 1960's.
