+1 from me on how much better the Sea Sick looks with the chrome. The cream/white pickups look great, too, and compliment the color.

Definately like the chrome on the Sea Sick. I did a similar conversion on my black SD1.

I too have black parts sitting around begging to be put to go use.

I sold a custom ESP years back that I now wish I would have kept. So, my spare black hardware will likely be used to recreate something similar with Musikraft or Warmoth parts.

I agree. I might've actually bought the Seasick I played the other day if it looked like that...maybe. Pretty nice guitar but the black looked all wrong to me.

Bump. I'm curious what it would cost to get a San Dimas in Seasick Green or Candy Apple Red and then change out the hardware for chrome (and cream plastic).

Just price out the parts and do the math - its not too friggin hard to do in this day and age.

Tuners - $40
Floyd - $180
Pickups - $150
Knob - $10
Pickup rings - $10
football jack - $10
strap pins - $15

That's off the top of my head for what I spent on mine. You can do better if you have the parts already, use 2nd hand parts and sell the original parts to offset costs.
