Good choice. However you shouldn't ask a forum to tell you what colour to get your guitar in. That's a personal preference and only you can decide that one.
In my opinion though, black is better but it depends on what look you're after. Black with maple is classy and sexy. Slap on a glossy three ply black white black pickguard. Can't get much better.THIS IS MY POST

Actually, I was leaning toward the purple from the start. The other reason I asked is to determine what might be a better choice for resale. Most people said purple so I'm going to assume purple would resell better and appeal to more people than black.
