Yeah, good call. I was thinking white rings, but maybe cream rings to pull the maple color together with the rest of it. It definitely needs SOMETHING. :think:

I found out some sketchy details on this from the local Fender rep. Looks like they're in stock now, there are 20 of them.

The "spec sheet" mentions something about a pickguard. But, I don't see one. Then again, they do have the Andy Roads input jack on their Custom Shops so I'm not sure I'd trust this info, it wouldn't fit with "San Dimas" either.

I know! That's all it needs. Well, and cream or zebra pickups and cream rings. I would totally buy one of these if it had that!

Why oh why won't Charvel put out a polar white SD1 with cream and chrome?

I'm undecided. I think it should have a chrome baseplate and black saddles on the floyd and chrome pickup rings and black pickups. That would look wicked cool.

Is that color polar white ? If it is I don't thinks its as good with the white pups because the color of the guitar is off white . But if its snow with with white pickups that is just fn sweet !

I went in Friday and bought one!! I haven't been able to even get it out of the bag yet but when I do, I'll give a full report. I think Charvel did 20 of them exclusively for them, so he had the other 19 in boxes in the back of the store.

BTW, they still had a polar white So cal that is sweet if anyone is looking for one. it was between the polar white socal and the snow white san dimas, and I opted for the SD, mainly because I have a GMW "vintage white" body coming to the house in the next day or so as a result of their online sale.

I like it. White rings may look better but I could deal with it as-is.
