Also, the anger of the message doesn't come across near as strong when you put stars in the places of letters. It also just makes you look dumber by trying to cover up the "Bad Language" like that, atleast say "oh Hamburgers!"

At this rate you've used your guitar problem as a catalyst to rip on those that were sympathizing for you and even offered really solid advice. Christ, I love my Charvels, but at the end of the day, it's just a guitar.
Ok young man, thank you for chiming in on the topic. I am now going to give you the response I feel your statement deserves. Here it is:

You get it you little sh*t? Your opinion is worthless to me. Someday when you work for a living and buy your own gear with your own money, you will not consider any guitar "just a guitar"

That was a $1000 hard-earned dollars. Snooki's sister had to spend her whole weekend making that money for me.

I believe the term you kids use is "Oh, Snap!"

you WANT another man to suck on your meat? not that there's anything wrong with that....

All the homoeroticism in this thread has become even more entertaining than watching RSmacker making moves on Wilkinsi

          Haha ok:

First: I DID purchase my Socal with my own cash that I worked for at my job; like you could assume I didn't, but whatever. So yeah I did work and pay for it myself, and it is STILL just a guitar. It is for you too considering you're buying a Gibson now, which I also have, and payed for as well--but this has nothing to do with the thread. I honestly don't log into the JCF for this, but if you're going to reply, then I will too.

The term us kids use? That wasn't me, that was the guy you called Snooki. Yes, us "kids" watch Jersey Shore, but we also know when to say "Fuck off."

I've been following your sorry-ass thread for a while, but I'm glad to know that your first response to me is: "Little Shit" -BTW I love the stars with obscenities as noted earlier.

Hopefully, years from now when you realize that myself as well as other members here, aren't as you stated "Douchebags" but instead trying to help.

So, us kids sadly realize when someone like you needs to grow the fuck up and take the neck offered to you from Charvel and bolt it on.

            That is pretty good!

I saw your guitar on ebay, and thought about buying it so I could have a white body to put an eBay neck on later, but saw the neck pocket body cracks and decided not to. How did the neck pocket crack like that?

By the sounds of your response here to Shreddy, here is what I say to you

"Hey Old, Dirty Clown Balls, get out of here with the shred of dignity you still have, you are the guy making yourself seem like a complete fucking idiot on a board visited by thousands of people every day."

If I was FMIC, I would be embarrassed to have ever sold you a guitar, you goddamn Slime bucket. did your Dad dropkick your Mom in the stomach when she was pregnant with you or what?! you clearly have some sort of brain malfunctioning going on, otherwise you would've got the fuck out of here a long time a go

BTW, I love the Trailer Park Boys avatar pic.

I still don't see why he just didn't take the replacement neck. $200 is a steal.

                • Come on now Edwin, is that any way to talk to a minor? What kind of example are you setting?

FYI: "Oh snap" denotes ownage, or as us "kids" say, p0wNag3. For example, a theif breaks into a house, falls and spears himself on the horns of a solid brass mountain goat sculpture he was trying to steal. That, my dear Edwin, is "ownage". Irony. Fact. You. Snap!

I agree about the neck, they sell for like $400 on Ebay, so even if he got it and didn't like it, he could sell it and be ahead of the game

You know, I'm no expert, but there are plenty on here so let's ask. Why do neck pockets on bolt-on guitars get laquer cracks? I know its a common issue and over my 25 years of playing have seen it on everything from Ibanez's to a brand new Suhr. Suhr basically said it's a fact of life with a bolt-on but they touched it up free of charge to keep it from spreading. The one on my Charvel is very small and only on the bass side. The Suhr's were longer and on both sides.

Any other opinions? Maybe JS is wrong? He seems to know his stuff. But what do I know?

Well, I guess it's time to take the gloves off huh? I've been trying to be civilized, but your making that impossible.

Ok, I will make a deal with you. Derek Frigo killed himself, so if you promise that you will at least consider it too, I will stop posting in this thread.

                        Is that fair?

Yeah, I've seen it on lots of different brands. I think it is probably due to overtightening of the neck pocket screws most of the time. With a lot of guitars, it is pretty easy to see how overtightening could put pressure on the finish and cause a crack. For the most part, I don't see it as that big of a deal. In some cases it could be an indicator of something worse, but most of the time it doesn't bother me all that much if everything else about a guitar seems solid.

Fair would be accepting that you took it out of hand, but then again, maybe us "kids" don't truly know the definition of fair.

Shreddy I'm glad to hear you buy your own gear. You will appreciate things in life much more if you work for them. The reason I didn't take the new neck for $200 is that this has never been about money for me. It's about principle to me. I didn't break the neck, I don't know who could have or how they could have, so I am not going to pay a penny for a replacement. End of story.

Someone is going to get a good deal on ebay and all is well. So what can I say. You seem like your a good kid and you have excellent taste in guitars. Rock on.
