Well so much for trying to play nice with you guys huh? To be honest, there are a few members on here and on the Charvel forum that I have great respect for. But of course, like any forum, there are a whole bunch of idiot fanboys on here too. Some members were gentleman and could empathize with the situation. Some had experience with wood and guitar construction and offered advice. Several were even kind enough to offer to help me repair the guitar. And then there were the morons that are apparently still trying to figure out why I would intentionally smash my new $1000.00 guitar. Haven't cracked that case yet huh?
I am selling the guitar on ebay with no reserve. A friend of mine who is a cabinet maker repaired it for free. I would rather lose a bunch of money on it than give anyone the satisfaction of me paying dealer cost to replace a neck I didn't break. It's called principle. Have you heard of it? If you f'n losers would stop playing Call of Duty in your parent's basement for a little while, you might figure out what that means. Plus I have saved so much money in the last month buying used FMIC products, that the loss is more than made up for.
I don't know how the crack happened. I don't really give a f*ck if any of you believe me or not. Your opinion means absolutely nothing to me. This original thread was not started asking for any advice. It was simply an FYI about a situation I was having.
In the future, instead of typing your ignorant replies and keeping this old thread going, you would be better off spending more time jerking off to your sister's Victoria's Secret catalog.
If your one of these d*ckhead punks, please consider this directed at you. If your not, please disregard. You know who you are.
And for the record.... I have a bunch of guitars that sit unplayed in their cases for long periods of time. It's called a collection, you f'n jerk.
