Oh yeah, my fiesta red one is going to have a maple neck on it too. The rosewood neck will go on my old San Dimas pointy with worn out frets and I'm going to snag a blow out tele for the neck and part out the rest on ebay.
One big problem....... I have too many guitars now and this fiesta red single hum guarantees that I will soon own another. I think I will just sell another Warmoth.

but then... they sourced a special three-way instead of cutting a blade slot? That ain't make no sense!

I LOVE the blue flame! Didn't see that one at first. I also really like the other flame. Both are cool graphics IMO.
The 3 way toggle in the H-S-S can be over come by just putting in a push/pull pot to activate and split the humbucker. This would work for most people without altering the guitar, although not for everyone. I think the trans gold looks really good on that guitar and I personally really like the pickups mounted to the body. If someone prefers pickup rings then that's an easy fix.
Considering the white So-Cal in the last batch, chrome hardware on another model this time around, rosewood board, H-S-S configureation and a couple graphics then it seems to me that FMIC is listening to their customers and specifically us here on the JCF. Just my opinion.

its just aint happening.
I say the HSS is not a good idea. 2 hum or 1 hum is the way to go. HSS is just too common.
Or better yet, why don't they do an HS? Ferrari red. That'd be MY guitar for sure.

I think the only thing they got wrong this time is the colors. The SoCal and H/S/S are just not the right colors. Some may say the Single Hum isn't either, but I love that one, so whatever...My point is that the other two model's colors should have been something basic like blue or red and then put out more exotic ones, how many Candy Blue SoCals with chrome would they sell or in Sunburst? Or that H/S/S in Ferrari Red or even black? It's the colors...

The trans kandy gold is sweet except for the middle single coil - that's the deal breaker for me.....i'll wait for a HS version.....

Some clamored for rosewood. We got it. Some begged for a basic graphic, maybe a flame one. We got it. Some begged for a single hum. We got it. Some begged for H-S-S. We got it. I begged for classic old Fender (and early Charvel colors) like seafoam green, sonic blue and yes, fiesta red and we got one of them so far. Did they announce this is the very last run of these? No. Exactly what you want may be 3 months away.
I used to have a single hum, fiesta red, strat head back in the day. It looked bitchin'. This one will too. Of course I prefer a double cream pickup and a cream pickup ring and when that 30 minutes of work and maybe $15 cost difference after selling the old one, I'll be good to go. They don't have to sell 10,000 of any of these guitars. Just 150-200 of each one.
And we still have the option of getting exactly what we want from Charvel but it's gonna cost you $1k more.
Don't give up on us Bionic Mike. I still think you rule!
And I think I was one of the only a few people who loved the seasick green... if I ever have the funds and run across a good deal, Id really like to get one.Imagine, being able to be magically whisked away to... Delaware. Hi... Im in... Delaware...

Trans colors? Who's trans'es alder...especially multi-three or four piece bodies? It a painted body wood, not a trans wood. Hummmm...........other than that I'm all over the red rosewood. This time, I think I'll wait three months and buy one for $650.
