Trans colors? Who's trans'es alder...especially multi-three or four piece bodies? It a painted body wood, not a trans wood. Hummmm...........other than that I'm all over the red rosewood. This time, I think I'll wait three months and buy one for $650.

The trans are over 2 piece bodies - as per Bionic when we questioned the first tranny kandy pink.

It is kind of fun to say what we would have done differently but, you have to have a vision. Look what Grandturk did with his black San Dimas Style 1. Hello? That was a grand slam. I have changed something on all three of my production model Charvels to make them exactly what I wanted. Strangely, I have changed something on both of my original Charvel San Dimas's too. Heck, one of them started life as a single hum and now is a H-S. Cost about $45 for a clean rout.

I think it's awesome that Charvel is mixing it up so much. There's no way that they can please everyone. In one post, someone loves the new 1 hum. And then 5 posts down, another person says it's the worst idea ever. You know what I mean. Let's encourage Charvel to keep it up. Just think what we'll see over the next few batches! I think they honestly nailed this batch - I think these guitars will sell (despite describing the flame up one as done with Crayolas). The amber SoCal is pretty. The Tranny Goldie HSS SD is pretty - it looks expensive and classy. The Single Hum will be mine. The Blue flame one will sell because its cool looking and limited.

hey, the 1 hum concept is AWESOME. really, its great. I like it alot. but the color blows donkeys. its orange. ugly orange. if they keep that idea, and change the color to something cool, they will strike it rich.

I love it too, everything is perfect, but i would prefer a creme ring/creme pickup for that vintage look. Easy to fix, but I think I like the idea of the body mount.

I am holding out for a cockdragon graphic. it would look great on the fiesta red.
