I am holding out for a cockdragon graphic. it would look great on the fiesta red.

I got that "dragon" graphic one with the Kahler from a buddy of mine for one of the guys who worked for me. He didn't even care what the dragon was "made out of"... he just couldn't stand the Kahler. You definitely wouldn't put that quote in a Kahler testimonial. "I was willing to put up with a phallic dragon on the front of my guitar for all to see but I just couldn't deal with that Kahler."

i think these photos may be doing a disservice to the new batch. watch the video again. the new colors look much better during those outdoor scenes. i'll be getting that so cal come the 15th.

Well, I like them all. In fact there hasn't been one yet that I wouldn't be proud to own. (I'll get one eventually)
It still blows me away that a major manufacturer is prepared to "chop and change" like this - every three months we get new suprises! Can you imagine Ibanez doing it? "This quarter's Special Edition RG is either black, black or matt black..."
I'd like to see a sunburst finish on a SoCal. With chrome, white plastics and a single creme humbucker.

What i think is cool is that the company is evidently listening to what fans want. A lot of us wanted HSS and got it. A lot of us wanted single hum and now we have one. Can't see any other guitar company doing that.

I love that they're doing the 1H. I like Fiesta Red. I'm not saying Mike fucked up in the slightest... It's just not going to get ME to buy one (probably) and that's mostly because I already have more guitars than I need.

Hey, dont get me wrong, I am not bitching about Charvel, I think its cool they are listening to the fans. I am just stating opinions. my tastes in colors and options are not law, just opinion. There are folks here that like the Feista red. I do think the 1 hum is awesome, especially with chrome gear. I can take or leave the rosewood. its fine, but maple is fine too. I just am not really wired on the color. other than color, that guitar is kickin. If it were candy red, or ferrari red, I would buy one in a heartbeat. but not orange. I dont do orange. so its cool. as I said, I am sure something that suits me will come along.

The amazing part is how we all differ so much. we all want something different. What I think is cool, others will not. and vice versa. If I was Charvel I would be pulling my hair out reading this.

If my current list of guitars wasn't what it is I might actually get one of these. I am pissed at myself too because I sold my socal last week because so many people said they say a blooddrip model. Hotwheels flames I'll pass. I forgot most of us are older and probably are not wearing our glasses.
I have 3 one humbucker guitars way down from a few months ago going down to two and I just bought 2 trans finish guitars a trans purple esp and a 95 charvel in lacewood.

I dig having the wider variety this time with the graphics. I think this is a decent selection. I'm not that keen on trans finishes on alder bodies - not sure what the point is given the grain is not that interesting.

It's cool to see rosewood and I'm hoping that is a sign of more rosewood models in the future.

The fiesta red with chrome looks good to me, but single hums are not my thing.

I think this is a decent batch with some "never done before with a USA production model" guitars (single hum, direct mount, graphics). One thing is for sure ... you can't please everyone every time.
