I'm posting to introduce myself. I have been lurking on this forum for a couple of months drooling over the Pro Mod Charvels and decided to take the plunge. So I've bought a Candy green So Cal. I live in Cardiff, UK and have been playing for 9 years.

I also own a Les Paul Studio and a MIK Fender Lite Ash Strat.
I have removed the film that covers the pickgaurd but some remnants are stuck to the pick up adjuster screws. How did you forumites get rid of yours? Any suggestions would be welcome.
I need to figure out how to post photos!

Can't see the pic - but good luck with the plastic film - I've still got some stuck under the knob on my Adrian Smith. Basically, you've got to disassemble the pickguard to get the plastic out from under the knobs and switch.

    Blank yo!

I don't have the manage attatchments option to submit pictures as described in the forum FAQs.

Did you have to pay for the case?

          Nice guitar.

No, the shop threw it in to sweeten the deal.

I'm really bonding with the neck and I really like the pickups, especially the tonezone.

Yes, the neck is a fine fine feature. Can I ask how much you paid?

                I paid £899.
The case looks very similar to the Thomman E case (on Thomman.de) which is advertised at £38.

You can get some killer tones with the tonezone. Ive been rocking a lynch-esque riff with mine.

I know the old saying that the value of an opinion is generally inversely proportional to the strength with which it is held.
