    the pickup should have had a pickup ring and had an angled pickup circa 85-87. still looks nice ,i'd convert it with a pickup ring if possible.

      Hey All,

      Thanks for the replies. Its a 1984 Kramer Reissue (Gibson). Modeled after EVH's custom Kramer 5150. Pick up is direct mount, no angle like the 5150.

      The 1985 Reissue is modeled after the Kramer Baretta (different headstock and angled prickup).

        The Reissue Barettas were made in the USA, by Hill guitars.

        The 1984s were built in Asia, assembled in America.

        the 1984 is NOT a Baretta


        The Model series and the Kramer Focus series were very similar in a way, only with reversed roles, Kramer had the better trem, but Charvel had better pickups.
