That's Warren's original snakeskin (real skin, not paint). It was originally one humbucker in the '80s, he had the single coil added in the '90s. That looks to be the colour scheme on the NAMM wall, although the one on the wall has a colour matched headstock, whereas Warren's is clear.

Can anyone confirm or deny that these will have a matte, rather than glossy, finish? That's how it seemed to appear in the videos, at least. Otherwise, looks kick@ss.

Hmmm...if the signature model is supposed to be a quasi-replica of the real snakeskin ones, they don't have logos, so maybe that's the idea...subliminal advertising...

Matte would make sense if they're going for the quasi-replica thing too...I kinda like it!

I dont know how you can replicate the real thing though. that original one that warren had was too damn cool. the paint job ones can never capture the real thing. I know I know. cost......

I am betting this one is going to be pricey. its not going to be in the $1250 line with the flames one. this baby is goign to be 2 to 3K. not worth it IMO. $1250??? yes, all day long. but not worth 2 to 3 K.

yep. in my eyes a snakeskin graphic does not justify more the double the price. now look at the recent graphics in the pro mods. the blue flame is only $150 more than the regular pro mods and thats a graphic paint. now that is what I call a good deal. but no way is the snake worth $2500. no way. its just a paint job. I would rather grab a new pro mod, and send the body to GMW or Mike Learn to be refinished in snake and still be way ahead on cash.

It's a custom shop guitar, dude. It's not a production model with different paint, so the $2399 buys a little more than a snakeskin graphic.

If you want to say that a custom shop guitar isn't worth $1300 more than a Pro Mod then, you know, that's kind of been said, argued, chewed up, spit out, and pissed on more times than I care to count.
