So I had this idea for a more 'realistic' looking Warbird graphic and I wanted to do something different from the usual Warbirds. I've always been a WWII history buff and a Japanese Zero graphic just seemed perfect.
I wasn't keen on giving Fender over $3k for this, so I started to look for a suitable 'base' guitar to use for 'Project Zero'....I found this on Ebay. a 2005 Custom Shop (Music Zoo I think) 1 hum Charvel. Cost about what a used 'USA Pro-Mod' goes for.
The finish was a little beat up with some dings & playwear. PERFECT!
Here's my cut & paste 'workorder' I gave to Dan Lawrence.
Some Progress pics at DRL Graphics.
Yellow Logo...nice touch Dan!
The finished product. As always, Dan Hits a HOME RUN!!
Kamikaze or more literally 'Divine Wind' in Kanji
All said & done...just under $1400 US for this. :hea
