Truss rod access

Hello, I have an EVH Charvel and I am getting string buzz on the B and high E strings, only when played open. So I thought, well I'll just adjust the truss rod and give the neck a bit of relief. I cannot see how you can access the truss rod on these guitars? I do see a "cross-pattern" sort of thing on the neck by the pups, is this the adjustment on these?

yes, that's the adjustment for the trussrod...you need to un-bolt the neck to access it.
