Trace, the collection is growing and more amazing than ever sir!

as for the comments, I've learned that there are two kinds of people you will run into in life and you can choose which kind you will be in your own life:

      1. those who see others' success and wealth as a positive example they want to work hard to emulate and strive for.

      2. those who see others' success and wealth with jealousy and bitterness which reveals their own insecurity - they want to tear down those who have done better than they.

again, you choose which of these you will be in life. and much of that choice determines the fullness and happiness of one's life. #2 is much easier than #1, as one might imagine.

as for me I can't find the time to even play all 5 of the guitars I currently own regularly, so having more than that would be maddening, as I hate having them sit, I want to play them.

another thing about collections is, just because one collected stuff over time (and clearly Trace has), does not mean they're rich, it many times just means they made those choices rather than other choices.

my wife and I chose to devote all our resources to buying in an expensive area of LA so my kids would have great school choices. but I can't afford a nice car too. life is a matter of choices, and people don't always appreciate this when they see a nice collection of anything.
the guitar players look damaged - they've been outcasts all their lives

Gtrbuyer: You have quite the collection there, as I stated it isnt my thing as we all have different goals and things we want out of life. I am sorry that MY opinions started this clusterfuck that the thread has turned into good luck on your quest to take over the Charvel world!!
hey no worries..everyone is entitled to their opinion and thats all cool. At the end of the day I am not trying to please you or anyone else...been into guitars for 30 years now...great hobby and I enjoy it...nothing makes a bad day better than plugging in (select a guitar) and rocking out!

Tracy is a Newfie and the only things Newfie's show off(or brag about) is the big ass cod they caught or the lovely young sheep tucked behind the shed for a late night rendezvous. lol. I love seeing these pics...keep them coming.

Newfie = Newfoundland? We didn't get quite as far north as that, but we did thoroughly enjoy Nova Scotia/New Brunswick a couple years ago.

Hey, thanks for posting those pics of your collection. If I wasn't the type who constantly sold gear to get new gear, I'd have over 200 guitars right now...but that's because I'm impatient and see a guitar I want and determine whether or not it's something I'd prefer to have over one I already own. So I kinda work with the "one in-one out" theory. I usually have between 4 to 7 guitars and they all see considerable playtime.

So my favorite is that Bengal one....would look really cool w/ a purple burst on the outside edge to give it even more of a Lynch vibe.

Let's see the BC Rich.....now if you start collecting those, then we'll have a problem

I too, have saved these pics and am showing them to the significant other. Her accusations that I'm bad with constantly buying gear pale in comparison to this.

                Great collection!!!

As the saying goes, if you don't have anything nice to say then don't say anything at all.

Who among us has the right to say owning that many guitars is excessive? I for one know I am not. What is or is not excessive is subjective and therefore it's a personal choice.

I for am glad to have Trace share his collection with us because many of those guitars are a piece of Charvel/Jackson's history and those guitars are more than just wire and wood. Damn the haters and full speed ahead I say!

                    Thanks for sharing Tracy!
I for one don't understand people who read a thread that is clearly about someone's collection and doesn't like looking at collections.

                      • thanks guys...oh and the EVH5150III amp...I love it and believe it or not it sounds decent at bedroom levels and really sounds good at band level volumes. The clean channel (green) stays clean with little break up if you keep the gain down. I have the blue channel set up for classic rock (gain on 7 or so) and the red channel is my Metallica sound.

                          • This is just an awe inspiring collection of guitars. I would fear catastrophe every time I left the house. I would have a halon fire suppression system in that room...

Tracy - pure awesome. Thanks for "showing off" as some would call it. I enjoy this immensely. It's like a time capsule in some cases.

                              • what's the story with the black and yellow EVH guitars? are they just customs? or is there more to them?
