Since you seem to be THE Charvel guy What year and Model is the Purple Splatter? I had the same Model only in blue that I picked up used and abused in early 87' for a steal. After some minor body work, a new paint job (same color) a refret and a new pup in the bridge and a pick guard (since I didnt put a neck pup back in) it was good as brand new; till it and my CS Soloist met an early demise in 94' by my now X 
anyway I never did get the info on the Charvel, I miss that guitar it could do it all it and it played so fast.
