I see where fordsho is coming from. There's no possible way that he plays all of these guitars, and posting photos of his enormous collection is just showing off his money.

Some people collect books. Some people collect cars. Some people collect rare coins. Some collect stamps. Hell, some people even collect bugs. One does not need to read the books, drive the cars, spend the coins, mail the stamps, or eat the bugs to enjoy them in a way they see fit.

Those that have the means to do so, then CHOOSE to share them with those of us who happen to love them, well that makes us fortunate if you ask me. Where else would you see such an incredible collection of beautiful guitars? The knowledge about them we can receive from one single source is freaking awesome. Not to mention really cool shit like what can be done, for instance that Jelly Burst wants to make me burst my jelly, now THAT guitar would make a cool limited run!

I see the photos and I hear a distinct, "Oh, you don't have the limited run of neon green Charvels?" in a snooty country club voice.

It seems that a Jackson/Charvel board would be one of the Top 10 most appropriate places to show off your Charvel/Jackson axes once in awhile. If not here, where? If not now, when?

I remember you posting this a few years back. It is one hell of a collection. It's nice to see people who have a passion, no matter how crazy of a collection it is. At one point I had 15 Jacksons, it was just too much for me because I am pretty ontop of things... changing strings, setups, and all the work that comes along with them. So, I unloaded a bunch and I am down to a healthy 7 and they all have a different purpose. I couldn't work if I had that many

For the people who dont like it, shut up. It is his life and his money. He can do whatever the hell he wants with it. You don't have to put your spin on his morality and lifestyle because it is different then your own. This is the kind of bullshit that makes this board suck sometimes.
