  • NGD - Charvel Blue Flame

It came in today from Matt's Music. Kudos to Matt for helping me score one of these - he is super friendly and goes out of his way to help his customers. Guitar was packed very well and made it here safe and sound. Matt if you are reading this, thank you!

without further ado, here's the pics:

Great score. Love the graphic. Way better than the yellow flame up IMO.

Your son looks really excited about it too (re: This baby is all mine someday!)

BTW I got a close-up look at the yellow/orange flames. It's actually very cool in a "Hot Wheels" kind of way. It's totally not a bad paint job, but it's more like a Hot Rod Flames kind of deal, where these are painted to be way more realistic.

wow, that is very cool. I like your pics much better than the couple of launch pics that were doing the rounds.

thanks man! yeah, the pics they had on the website really didn't do this finish justice, IMO.

I was thinking the same thing when I saw this. Your pix rule. If I would've seen pix like yours, I would've tried to get one of these.

there's one on ebay still right now. I think it hasn't sold cause he wants to squeeze more out of it than the retail price. fuckin capitalism. lol.

We'll have to agree to disagree on that one. To me, the Flame Up did not stand up to closer inspection.
