  • USA Production model price

Hi I was wondering if some of you guys could tell me what you paid total out the door for your production models, in particularly those of you who picked one up from Guitar Center.

    Thanks

I paid $999 plus tax for my first one from Mannys before the price increase in 2009.

not guitar center but I bought my Candy Tangerine SoCal for $675 + tax. this was a new model, just being blown out since it was sitting there for months. this was the first batch and the charvels promods were relatively unknown. I don't think I'd be able to repeat that sort of score again now that the secret is out.

GC doesn't carry them...they may have some used ones. You can sometimes score a new one for a good bit less than retail...maybe 800 or so, but typically not a new batch color. You can find used ones in the 650 or so range. Check with the dealers on here like Piney Hills and Matt's Music--they typically give deals for JCF members.

Paid 699 for a white telly. Like it was said above...they started blowing out all the Tellies...you're basically getting an 1100 dollar guitar for 700...can't beat that with a stick. Best part is...I really like my white Telly better than any guitar I own...at least right now...of course, that will change..but goddamn, this thing is nice...and I'm of the school that if you don't pay at least a grand for a guitar, you're playing second rate stuff. Not in this case.

Two weeks later, I got them to come down 100 bucks on a San Dimas Strat (from 1100)

All in all, I've paid 1700 (plus tax) for two Charvels. I paid the same for a PRS CE 22...paid 1600 for a Fender Deluxe American Strat...paid 1600 for an Ibanez Team J Craft (which I did get a good deal on), and I paid 2700 (plus tax) for a Les Paul Standard. Charvels are by far, the best guitars on the market for the money...at least in my opinion.

            Good luck

Same as Todd, I payed $700 for my white tele due to the reduction in prices on that model. It should be here later this week and I'm looking forward to it!

Here in Australia it cost me $1400. Shortly after i bought mine it jumped up to $1600 and it now retails at $2000. Im sure they'd let any model go for $1600 however.

By the way, how do you guys think, is 900$ (canadian) is a good price for a used USA Standard series SD (pointy, one hum, synchronous trem) in ok condition?
