Not to mention the fact that Charvel's absence from the market for many years led many former Charvel players to build endorsement deals and strong relationships with other manufacturers. For example, Lynch (ESP), Vai (Ibanez), Jake (ESP), and so on. Not trying to be critical, it's just the fact of how things played out through the years. We should expect that it'll take more years to truly build the brand back. ...And they're off to a good start, so far.
So do you think they will ever return to glory? Or do you feel this is just some short lived reunion only for nostalgic purposes? (Like many bands reunion tours).
I hooked up my accelerator pedal in my car to my brake lights. I hit the gas, people behind me stop, and I'm gone.

Another run of the EVH Art Series, but using the reverse color would be cool. I really loved this one. Also it would be cool to have a Vai green meanie. But that is not likely.

Read the quoted section, they weren't talking about Fender. They were talking about that performaceguitar company that was linked.

I think signature models are great in the sense that they get to do custom stuff that you would have to special order otherwise. not ALL models, but say an yngwie strat. scalloped board. you can always change the pickups. i put a humbucker in the bridge of mine and viola! my custom.

Knowing that Charvel would mostly likely love to have Ed's picture all over their website and promotional materials, it must be Ed that doesn't want that. Even though EVH guitars are made by Charvel, it's his brand that he's promoting and selling. Why promote Charvel when he wants people to buy his EVH guitars?
