New Charvel San Dimas Question

I just got a new Slime Green Charvel San Dimas today. The thing plays and sounds like a dream. The only thing I noticed which seemed odd was that the trem seems to sit up very high from the body. The action and intonation seem to be perfect. I did look at some pics online and I saw some that seem to sit high and some that were low. I did not know what the reason for this would be. I want to make sure it is not something I need to get fixed. I am used to guitars with a Floyd Recess so am unsure as to how the Floyd is supposed to sit on my Charvel. I appreciate the help.

The floyd should be floating a bit above the body. That's how its designed. You should have enough for a good 1 1/2 to 2 step pull. They are not designed to be flush mounted.

What is the neck Profile like? I have a fat neck on a Warmoth Strat body now and I want something leaner like a Jackson.. Let me know, Thanks.
