why call me a troll...why bring name caling into it and make it personal. because your argument isnt strong enough on its own or something?

just because i dont like the look of the floyd on the promods im getting slated by everybody

i'd rather have a bowl of coco pops.

Well, maybe people think your comments are off-base because we've actually seen the tremolos in person, used them, etc. and your comments are all "think" and "guess" and "looks like, in this picture", and stuff like that.

Come on, seriously... You want to have an argument about the quality of a tremolo that many of us have seen and used, based on what you think after looking at a picture. Yeah, thread over, for sure.

In my experience, the Korean Floyds work fine. I have one on my Demmelition King V, and a German Floyd on my KE2. I did put a FloydUpgrades brass block on it (because I wanted to try one), but no problems whatsoever with the King V trem. And by the way, I think they're called Cocoa Puffs (someone correct me if I'm wrong).

Yes that's exactly what I'm saying.

Technically, they're not exactly the same, there are some subtle differences. However, in practical use, they might as well be.

I love my MIK Floyd. Works fine, looks fine, sounds fine. Ive got two of them actually, and only one has a wobbly bar. Aside from that, theres absolutley nothing wrong with them.

You guys are just being difficult. The original poster on this thread is absolutely correct. These guitars are unplayable by any top tier guitarist with this stock hardware on them. It can't be done. You strum a D chord and the metal that the Floyd is made of liquifies and runs down the body of the guitar, melting the paint off. The volume pot is made out of sun-dried, wolverine crap stolen from the horde of dung beetles and painted black.

To see how unplayable these junk boxes are in the hands of crappy guitarists just watch these:

Oh by the way, I'm not busting the OP's balls. Just joking aound.

The part about the volume knobs being made from material stolen from the den of a dung beetle is true though. Right Mike?

i have read reviews... and i cant play one first cause no stores here sell em, i'd have to order one.
and this isnt the first time ive seen a promod. i said it was first time ive seen the hardware up that close.
yes. "the floyd will need immediate replacement" FOR MY NEEDS. which you have no say over. i can just tell by looking at it, that i wont agree with it, if im wrong so what, im buying the guitar either way. and it aint based on 1 photo. i posted 1 photo, but i looked at alot.
i figure that the arm wont lock properly for long, because ive owned simila looking trems made out of that cheaper metal, and they usually wear away.

why did you get so offended at my post anyway? if anything you are "going on a tear"
I wasn't offended. I could care less. But you sure surmised a hell of a lot based on a picture. Why not buy the guitar (since you've stated you will be anyway) and play the fuck out of it until the Floyd falls out, and then worry about dropping cash on a replacement. Oh, that's right - you've already determined that the arm will not lock in place and will wear away...

but come on seriously... even little things like look at that picture, the writing "floyd rose" just looks like its been pressed into the metal as if the metal is soft
you'd be amazed what they can do with machines these days. They do have ones that can press writing into metal. They are amazing!

Are they the Kelloggs ones? Because over here we have Kelloggs Coco Pops.

dude, you have opened my eyes! I'm just glad I'm not a top tier guitarist because I have a bunch of licensed Floyds. A couple of Schallers and a heap of branded ones, and not an OFR amongst them. I'd hate to have to drop £100+ on a real floyd for each one.
                          Hail yesterday

My name is John Fawkes, and I can tell just by looking.

You realize how stupid you sound with that argument? Seriously, get that shit out here.

Hey Fawkes, don't listen to these guys... well most of them anyway. It's all bullshit, some of them know thier shit but most of these guys are just looking for acceptance from the rest of the microbrained cowards (too affraid to say what they really think for fear of the ridiculous circle of sarcasm & jokes best suited for twelve year old's coming from the little dick little man-syndromed jock type tough guy ''guitar know it all's on here!'') and the 80's guitar god could've/would'ves...but...couldn't & didn't failures! You are absolutely correct. These Korean floyd's suck major ass! ''No difference other than where they're made''?? Insane! Please explain to me why then it is that if these korean models are ''just as good'' both Charvel & Jackson use the German models on there custom shop & high end models???? Fawkes was not talking about a ''good for the price'' type of thing with regards to the Floyd, just that they simply looked like they suck & he's correct!!
