Well, maybe people think your comments are off-base because we've actually seen the tremolos in person, used them, etc. and your comments are all "think" and "guess" and "looks like, in this picture", and stuff like that.

In my experience, the Korean Floyds work fine. I have one on my Demmelition King V, and a German Floyd on my KE2. I did put a FloydUpgrades brass block on it (because I wanted to try one), but no problems whatsoever with the King V trem. And by the way, I think they're called Cocoa Puffs (someone correct me if I'm wrong).

I love my MIK Floyd. Works fine, looks fine, sounds fine. Ive got two of them actually, and only one has a wobbly bar. Aside from that, theres absolutley nothing wrong with them.

You guys are just being difficult. The original poster on this thread is absolutely correct. These guitars are unplayable by any top tier guitarist with this stock hardware on them. It can't be done. You strum a D chord and the metal that the Floyd is made of liquifies and runs down the body of the guitar, melting the paint off. The volume pot is made out of sun-dried, wolverine crap stolen from the horde of dung beetles and painted black.

i have read reviews... and i cant play one first cause no stores here sell em, i'd have to order one.

I wasn't offended. I could care less. But you sure surmised a hell of a lot based on a picture. Why not buy the guitar (since you've stated you will be anyway) and play the fuck out of it until the Floyd falls out, and then worry about dropping cash on a replacement. Oh, that's right - you've already determined that the arm will not lock in place and will wear away...

Just buy a Custom Shop guitar. The Pro Mod cannot possibly meet your needs, as you are obviously a man of discriminating taste and style.

i havnt used it. but im pretty sure that if i did use it..and it didnt work, it would be the trem NOT me.
but come on seriously... even little things like look at that picture, the writing "floyd rose" just looks like its been pressed into the metal as if the metal is soft

you'd be amazed what they can do with machines these days. They do have ones that can press writing into metal. They are amazing!

dude, you have opened my eyes! I'm just glad I'm not a top tier guitarist because I have a bunch of licensed Floyds. A couple of Schallers and a heap of branded ones, and not an OFR amongst them. I'd hate to have to drop £100+ on a real floyd for each one.
