Except for the saddles, based on a picture there's really no discerable visual difference in the MIG and MIK Floyds. Closer inspection and you'll see the Made in Germany stamp on the underside of the MIG Floyd and maybe on some, you can see the "bends" in the metal of the baseplate, but you can't see that from a picture usually.

sorry but... i really can see a fair bit of difference just from that picture in the link i posted. i'll be honest its hard forme to see a difference on the black ones, maybe its cause of the light or somethin, but on the chrome its just blatantly visible to see the metal even looks different.
i really am sick of this debate going back and forth, some of you like the MIK.. i will also probably think its ok, although compared to a MIG i think i really will notice the difference, i notice things maybe more so than some of you..

You can notice a difference in the appearance... Yes. Until you try it, hear it, etc. then you don't know if you are going to notice a difference in using it. :dunno:
