Because it is a matte finish with chrome hardware and a single hum. All of these features are not par for the course with the Production models. In this instance, the "wild" in "wild card" does not infer that the guitar will be "crazy and wild" but instead it will just be different from the standard offerings.

Yes, it would be cool but I wouldn't count on it given FMIC's policy on artist replicas, especially since Vivian isn't playing Charvels currently. A small run dicussion was on a couple others boards. Here's one of the mockups discussed of a GMW model with Vivian's skull graphic to be painted by Dan Lawrence. Fish did a couple other mockups using different fingerboards and inlays. I would love to see someone pull the trigger on this one!

IMHO, that guitar would look infinitely better with a matching (white with red logo) headstock and either a maple of ebony board.

Viv's Skulls guitar actually had a painted neck. You can't see it in this photo, but this is a good picture of the guitar anyway.

you can tell it's flat black in the live outdoor show. I really doubt he "flattened" all the gloss off the entire guitar! lol.

Watch the vids again - the light reflects pretty well. I think it's just road-worn, and grubby. I highly doubt it's flat black.

Now I'm back in the past from the future again to buy the guitar I'll go into the future to go back to the past to play, at which time I will go back to the future and put the guitar on Ebay for $1 million dollars, because I'm broke (time travel is expensive.)
