Help me decide on this mod

I would not ever drill into this guitar. The ring that I put on there fit snugly over the pickup. Whether I keep it stock or I put a ring on, it would only be put on with tape at the most...and in this case, I don't even need that.

I have a J-Custom Ibanez without pickup rings, and that guitar never looked to me like it was missing something...dual humbucker setup, and it's perfect. For some reason, I look at this Charvel, and I want to put a ring on that bridge p'up.

As I mentioned, I traded a SoCal for this guitar...even swap during the exchange period for this music store...and while I prefer the duncan pickups on the SD models over the Dimarzios in the SoCals (just my personal preference)...I do miss that pick guard and front mounted input jack...to me that looks more like a strat....and that's kinda always what I'm going for (unless of course, I'm playing a Telly
I think I only have two options here (not including doing any kind of modification of this guitar)..either buy a SoCal and throw some Duncans in it...or, piss the wife off real bad and buy the Snake Skin (two weeks after buying a PC1). Decisions Decisions...

Yeah, I thought of that, but it would not be very secure in higher heat/humidity.

I think zebras look good with creme rings on lighter-colored guitars and black rings on darker colored guitars.

I don't know of any way to securely mount a ring without driling into the body.

And remember never ware white after labor day...LOL
