  • A 24 fret Strat?

This one's at DCGL. I just noticed that it has 24 frets.

Can't recall ever seing a Charvel strat body with 24 frets before. Dinkys, yes. Strats, no.

    Kind of cool, I think.

Holy shit, that is badass. I love the reverse headstock. The logo should have been flipped with the print reading backward, though.

I can only find 23 or 24 things wrong with that.

I was just down at DCGL and seen this in person, but did not realize it had 24 frets. The are so many guitars there , that i was overwhelmed.

Awesome. Looks like it's got the truss rod adjustment at the nut, too!

I guess the distinction of the original Fender Strat shape is implied here? Here's a few strat-shaped axes with 24 and 27 frets:

That map guitar has been at DCGL for ages - I'm guessing at least 2 years...

Impressive. Maybe the FR should be gold since it looks like a treasure map.

Looks like a PC1 neck with a pau ferro fretboard (Strat head, 24 frets, truss adjust at nut, no skunk stripe). Very cool.

They've had others there, similar with the map graphic. Not 24 fret'rs, though. I don't think this one has been there that long.

IMHO, those are a lot more like Dinkys or Soloists, of which J/C has done many 24 fret'rs. (...Well, maybe not a lot of Charvel 24 fret Dinkys, but definitely Jacksons.) In any, event, much less similar to a traditional strat body than this one.
