4-digit serial USA Charvels

Hey guys!
I'm a new one here, so I just have to post a newbie question. sorry

Are all these 4-digit serial Charvels that are listed in a chart above, are really Custom Shop models? Or there were some production line guitars with 4-digit serials?

For example, I am 100% sure that my Charvel Solar is a Custom Shop guitar.. but what about black San Dimas with #6343 for example?

Some of the early production models had 4 digit serials, I have two of those - black so-cal and white sd2. There was a thread on this topic, just search the forum.

but.. is this a regular production USA guitar or a Custom Shop?

That was a regular production, though a really nice guitars. I have one with the rosewood board, vintage trem and one humbucker and it's one of my favourites

Congrats on a nice score! Although they are not custom shop, they are great guitars. The necks are spot on to the original San Dimas pointys.
