Well I was going to purchase the Abela Carbonized Charvel from The Music Zoo then this bad boy came in today. This is much more Charvel and the change of heart was easy.

man, I love the neck, holy crap. But I'm not feeling the body yet. I need to get used to the direct mount pups, etc. But regardless, that's a very nice guitar. Grats

Yea the direct mount is something that I wanted regardless. The picture is not the guitar I bought. Mine has a much better wood grain. When I bought it they pulled it off the site and I didnt get any pics. It looks much better.

Yea I think the neck on the Ash did it for me. The Ablea is just to dark, especially the neck.

Check out that hug knot in the top left of the body... now thats a real hunk of tree right there, that could put people off but I love it

Boring wood guitars don't do anything for me. Throw on a graveyard scene, Lightning Skies, or a Bengal paint job.

And I know I'm not alone. I've seen another popular member who sells lots of stunning axes not be able to dump a wood axe just like this. No bites.
