You mean the actual inner coil wire or the lead to the pot? I'd love to know how the inner coil broke. Hell, I'd like to know how either one broke.

This does happen from time to time I was told from my local tech. God knows how but the left coil broke on the inside.. I noticed a drop in volume at first which I thought was my amp, then I checked the jack input.??
So I took it to my tech at the guitar shop and he figured it out.
He recommended a guy who does rewinds so I will send it out to be fixed, as It was a great pickup.
I spoke to some dude from Fender who couldnt help me as it was just out of warrenty so I was on my own

As for a Wayne Batman.. not sure what you mean about that? ...sorry!
