You're supposed to be the expert on the serial numbers. :p

I know I've come across Charvel's with a Made in Korea sticker on them... the CHS models come to mind.

Ok, on a side note, my cx391 has the same exact plate.( I just checked, duh) It has a 007xxxx serial. I thought it was mij but who knows? 12th fret dots are charvel close together.

Didn't the mid 90s USA Charvels use both the standard US neckplates AND black plates with just the Charvel logo and serial#?
