EVH Charvel Art Series question

I have a 1st run B/W art series that I had ordered for Matt's Music.
Matt's a stand up guy, so I KNOW this is a legit guitar. I had ordered it the day they announced them at NAMM.

Problem is, I ended up getting told by a friend last night that all the EVH's had some type of hologram sticker covering the blowhole. Mine doesn't.

Were there some variations in those models? I've Googled this and haven't gotten much.

This isn't a for sale guitar but I want to have some better info so I can win my argument.

Mine has a sticker. The number on the sticker matches the neck plate serial number. Its possible it didn't adhere and fell off.
