old charvel control cavity covers ?

on older USA Charvels specifically around 1984 were all the control cavities the same route? reason i ask is that i sold the one i got from subvamp off the batman guitar to some guy on the bay and he says its slightly off without telling me what year guitar it was going on

i know budman sells replacements and i see that he sells only one size

he has a 2010 pro mod san dimas .... i guess they changed the specs a bit
